Hi Reader, It's been a minute since my last newsletter. I've been quietly brewing something in the background, working on a way to help you and your business. April signals spring cleaning, so this month I'm focusing on website health, care, and maintenance. Maybe you've been plagued by spammy emails from strangers claiming they found errors on your site, which leaves you frustrated and wondering if there really is something wrong. It's annoying, right? What if you could find the answer yourself? That's what I've been working on! Pour yourself a fresh cup of coffee (or tea), and let's catch up! Website Health QuizOver the past few months, I have been creating a self-guided evaluation tool for your website using Google PageSpeed Insights. It will give you your own assessment of your site's performance, helping you identify what's wrong and what to prioritize. Here’s how it works:
Time commitment: About 10-15 minutes
P.S. This new tool is designed to be a helpful resource for checking your website's health. It mainly focuses on WordPress sites, but can still be used for any platform because it checks via URL. If you have questions or notice anything that needs attention, please reach out, and I’ll be happy to assist. Maybe you have seen this happen. One day, the website is there; the next day, you discover it has been taken over by gremlins selling fidgets on the homepage, or worse. Who are you going to call? Here's what most business owners don't realize: websites don't stay healthy on their own. Most things in life need care and maintenance: cars, houses, yards, bookkeeping, taxes, and your personal health. While you might choose to manage many of these yourself, you also have the option to hire help. That's why I use a mechanic, hire a CPA to do my business taxes, and when I don't prioritize house cleaning, I know who to call. Your website is similar. Think of me as your website maintenance concierge.
If any of this resonates, or if you just want to say hi, hit reply. I read every message. If your website is on your mind but you're not sure what to do next, start with the website health quiz, or reach out with any questions. Sometimes clarity is the first step. P.D. I'm on the hunt! I've been trying out various coffee beans and am currently drinking an Ethiopia coffe, roasted by Black Gold Coffee Roasters in Venice, FL. Do you have any coffee bean recommendations? Hit reply and tell me; I'd love to hear what fuels your day.

Hi Reader, Grab your coffee (and a cookie) — this one's important. If you've been anywhere near the news lately, you may have heard about a wave of lawsuits hitting businesses over their websites. And it’s about cookies. Unfortunately, not the chocolate chip cookies kind, even though I just had to bake some last weekend! Seriously, what I’m referring to here are websites that track visitors without first asking permission. Chances are that you’ve clicked on one of these cookie consent banners...

Hi Reader, How’s 2025 treating you so far? This year stretched us in new ways. But if we’re honest, those challenges were really invitations to grow. They became the building blocks that shape us into stronger leaders and more thoughtful partners to the people we serve. And in our world, most partnerships start with one simple thing: a website. But design doesn’t end at launch. We believe in long-term support built on clarity, consistency, and care. Becoming your go-to resource—one that...
