My takeaways? Believe it or not, the biggest obstacle was my indecision about signing up! I gave myself a deadline. Then, once the decision was made, the next steps became clear. Make a plan and put it in motion!

When my mother had surgery and relied on a wheelchair during one of our shopping trips, we were visiting an outlet mall with many stores and heavy manual doors to navigate, and patience quickly wore out. I began assessing storefronts from the outside to decide if it was worthwhile to visit the inside.

But automated doors were figuratively like a red carpet rolled out, saying, "welcome!"
